New Hope's K–5th grade and infant–Pre K ministries are available during our 9:30am and 11am Sunday worship services and our 6:30pm Wednesday Family Nights.

INFANT – PRE K

At New Hope, we seek to provide a safe and loving space for the youngest members of our church family by offering special care for children from three months through pre-kindergarten. Our Early Childhood Ministry is open for loving care during our 9:30am and 11am Sunday worship services and our Wednesday Family Nights. A "Wiggle Room" adjoining the Sanctuary is also available during worship services for the comfort of families with infants.

 

Ministry is based on special lessons just right for our infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Each Sunday we will guide the children in positive experiences related to three simple truths: “God made me,” “God loves me,” and “Jesus wants to be my friend forever,” using age appropriate activities, stories, crafts, and snacks.

Our Early Childhood Ministry consists of staff and volunteers to meet the needs of our New Hope families. All adult staff have had background checks and most have CPR and First Aid Training.

 

We treasure our volunteers who help rock babies, read stories, play games with preschoolers, decorate our hallway, and give lots of love! If you are interested in serving in the nursery or behind the scenes, please email anita@newhopefortmyers.org. We offer many different opportunities to serve.

K – 5TH GRADE

Our New Hope Kids ministry is ready to welcome your children for fun and creative time during our 9:30am and 11am Sunday worship services and our Wednesday Family Nights! Come enjoy music, snacks, games, crafts, and lessons while meeting and playing with friends!

 

Ministry time focuses on different themes from the Bible each month using memory verses and Bible stories to help kids learn and remember topics such as God's love for us, learning patience, being kind to others, and more. We strive to work in coordination with parents' own efforts in training their children up in the way of the Lord.

We have an excellent team of devoted leaders who serve with the kids or behind the scenes. Leaders will tell you that they serve not for what they get out of it, but because it is a privilege to teach kids about Jesus. Even so, our team gets a lot of joy when we see a child take a big step of faith! It doesn’t get much better than that!
